Question 1 - Should the entire video be generated using AI or can the shooting be done in actual real life, with humans?
You are welcome to include “live” video recordings, human actors, and physical props in your submission.
Note that this is not a traditional video competition which can be done using non-AI tools i.e. live videos, clips assembled with video editing tools and voice overs. This completion must incorporate at least four AI tools.
However, please keep in mind that this is specifically an AI competition.
To remain eligible, your team must demonstrate the use of AI tools in at least four of the following areas:
- Storyline or script generation
- AI-generated images or video
- AI animation or motion
- AI voice-over or language tools
- AI music or sound generation
- Non-AI tools may also be used i.e. for video editing, special effects, music tracks
- Voice-overs can be AI-generated or recorded by a person
You may still use traditional non-AI tools for tasks like final video editing, special effects, and music tracks, and you have the option to use either AI-generated or human-recorded voice-overs.
Question 2 – The 15 best entries will be invited to deliver their pitches. Can participants present an updated or refined video at the Pitch?
NO, you must pitch and defend the exact version of the video that was submitted by the official deadline. To ensure total fairness for all participants, no refinements or updates to the video files are permitted after the submission window closes.
However, during your live pitch, you are encouraged to discuss your creative process and mention any further refinements or improvements you would have made to the video given more time.
